New release very soon

Happy New Year
Hi all
Thanks for the warm emails in the last few months.
We have been working on a new release and we are happy to say it will come very soon.
The new release bring some cool features, based on your requests, and is working smoother than ever.
Stay tuned and Happy New Year!!
Eyetwig, iTracker and our roadmap

Framework for easy development of iTracker-like apps
We figured that the best way to take Eyetwig and our products like iTracker to the next level is by providing a library that contains all of our computer-vision algorithms with a simple interface for easy integration. This will allow practically every developer around the world to develop iTracker like applications without the need to know anything about computer vision.
In fact, iTracker is now actually implemented on top of our framework. It works and it works well.
Our framework is available for download as of today. Check the download section at the bottom of this post.
New approach for games, utilities/apps when combined with computer vision capabilities
Using the Framework developers can easily change the games/apps experience. Games like first-person-shooter, flight-simulators and of the good old 'snake' for that matter, can provide a whole new experience when combined with some computer vision capabilities.
Free, OpenSource iTracker-like applications here in this blog
In the next few weeks we will be releasing small applications that use our Framework. It would be a free download AND would be OpenSource.
As we really want to see more and more applications leveraging the new capabilities of our framework, we decided that free, opensource applications will get our Framework for free.
Planning on an interesting opensource project? Send us a short description and we'll send you a build with no expiration. We will also be happy to share these projects in our blog.

More than 1200 downloads of iTracker in less than 24 hours!

iTracker was downloaded more than 1200 times in less than 24 hours!
We are very excited!
By now we've got hundreds of supporting emails/comments - we thank you all.
For those who expressed the need for some more advanced features - WE ARE ON IT!
Thanks again and keep on iTracking :)
iTracker1.0 for Mac is released - download it today!

Introducing iTracker for Mac!
We are VERY proud to release the world's first head-controlled software for Mac!
It is beautiful, smooth and we just love it!
Main features include:
1. Control the mouse with the movements of your head
2. Dwell click with on screen timer
3. Complete sensitivity/noise control
4. Global shortcut key for instant activation/deactivation of the tracking
5. Low CPU consumption

We are cooking another surprise for the Mac community!

Imagine a world where each and every developer can easily integrate face gestures into their applications...
We decided to do it! We started to design a private framework that would provide easy to use events for face-gestures.
For example, say you want to develop a 'snake' like game but you want your users to use their head in order to control the 'snake'. How would you do it?
You will need to start by detecting the face, then find efficient ways to track it... ouch!!
With our framework, all you'd have to do is register to the face-moved event and do what ever you want.
We are certainly going to surprise the Mac community.... STAY TUNED!
We submitted iTracker for the Apple Design Award, WWDC 2009

We decided to submit the brand new iTracker 1.0 for the Apple Design Award, WWDC 2009.
We believe that iTracker, the world's first head controlled software for the Mac, might get some recognition for it's innovative solution.
Wish us luck!

Some more background about our trackign solution

Tracker is the complete, most affordable solution to control your computer with the movements of your head. It has been successfully installed in a school for children with disabilities in Tel Aviv, Israel and puts lots of smiles on many children’s faces that could not effectively use computers before. We were even invited to ‘Good Morning Israel’ show to discuss our innovative product. In this short 6min video we demonstrate how accurate Tracker is on live TV. You probably can't understand the language there, but you can clearly see how surprised the crowed is. This product requires no calibration, no teaching/learning/practice. We designed our algorithms in a way such that it just works, fast and flawlessly.
Tracker is by far the best solution out there. To date, Tracker is by far the smoothest head-tracking software, leveraging our efficient tacking mechanism. Try Googling "Eyetwig" and see for yourself! People around the world tried to analyze the way Tracker works. The image to the right shows someone that was that desperate while trying to figure out how the heck we do it... oh, and if you wonder - yep, we laughed our ass when we saw it :)
More than 2,000,000 downloads of the OpenCV library

The number of people discovering the potential of this great library has just crossed 2,000,000.
This proves the growing interest in the computer vision area and at the same time positions OpenCV as the leading library in this territory. (source).

OpenCV on the iPhone?

OpenCV have many ports, it can be used with C/C++/.NET/JAVA and of course on the MAC with objective-c :)
Recently attempts are made to port this great framework to our favorite phone, the iPhone! (more)
